Orpheum Lofts Build on Success
While single-family homes dominate the outskirts of the Valley, the fresh concept of urban living is luring residents back to downtown Phoenix. Orpheum Lofts, the first vertical, master-planned community to hit downtown’s historic district of Copper Square, has successfully drawn upon the departure from traditional suburban lifestyle with record sales of 16 loft homes in the last month. The Art Deco mid-rise is nearly 40 percent sold as of mid-June.
Orpheum Lofts delivers all of a master-plan’s luxury amenities inside a downtown Phoenix mid-rise. The property’s exclusive state-of-the-art fitness center, indoor heated lap pool and spa, lavish courtyard, full-service business center and 24-hour doorman and valet parking cater to the on-the-go lifestyle of downtown professionals.
With 90 upscale lofts, half a block of streetscape retail and walking access to all of downtown’s arts, entertainment, restaurant, shopping and sporting venues, Orpheum furnishes the ultimate urban living experience.
“Phoenix is a natural for downtown revitalization,” said Norman Sheldon, TASB, LLC principal and developer of Orpheum Lofts. “Valley residents are ready for Phoenix to be along the lines of Denver’s LoDo, San Francisco’s South of Market, and New York’s SoHo.”
Orpheum Lofts is wrapping up the first phase in the restoration of the 1931 Phoenix Title & Trust Building. To maintain its timeless elegance, the original lobby incorporates decorative metal detailing crafted during the Depression, etched glass windows, a staircase of opulent marble and terrazzo and a lobby directory reminiscent of the traditions of the period. The developer anticipates the start of the unprecedented construction process, which mixes historical preservation and new construction, late this summer.
Located at the northwest
corner of Adams Street and First Avenue, Orpheum Lofts is one of very
few remaining Art Deco mid-rises
in Phoenix. The spacious
lofts will encompass 90,000 square feet of the building’s total 137,734
square feet.
In addition, Orpheum Lofts includes a retail component, Orpheum Emporium,
which will service not only loft owners but nine million annual visitors
and more than 30,000 downtown employees. Orpheum Emporium aims to host
an eclectic blend of upscale street level retail shops including an elegant
wine bar, specialty market, clothing boutique, coffee shop and a neighborhood
sandwich shop with a twist as well as other fine retailers.
Future residents can select floor plans ranging from 712 to 1,800 square feet, plus a magnificent penthouse. The remaining 55 lofts are available for purchase with prices ranging from the very low $200’s to $500’s.
A fully furnished model loft unit and residential sales center are now
open at 114 West Adams Street. Sales office hours are 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Monday thru Friday, and by appointment only on Saturday and Sunday. For
more loft information or to set up an appointment call (602) 252-5120
